In response to the expanding global population, worldwide climate changes, and dramatic plant and animal genome research occurring in the Asia Pacific region, the organizers of the Plant & Animal Genome Conference are planning a short version of PAG to be held in Shenzhen, China.

The 3-day meeting will consist of of 8 plenary talks, 26+ workshops, a poster section, and an exhibit area with tabletop booths - open to exhibitors offering equipment, services,and publications related to ag-genomic research.

PAG Asia By the Numbers

PAG attendance continues to grow annually, and at our last meeting, in 2019, there were a total of 356 attendees, from 24 countries. 77% are from Pacific Rim countries. 70% checked "Plant", and 30% "Animal", as their area of interest.

Scientific Program
The program consisted of 6 Plenary talks, 23 scientific workshops, 10 industry workshops, 106 abstracts were submitted, and 80 posters were presented.
