Vision of PAG Asia 2016

In response to the expanding global population, worldwide climate changes, and dramatic plant and animal genome research occurring in Asia Pacific, the organizers of the Plant and Animal Genome Conference are planning a short version of PAG to be held in Singapore, June 6-8, 2016.

PAG Asia Meeting

PAG Asia 2016 will be a 3-day meeting, consisting of plenary and small break-out sessions (workshops), and a poster section. Scientific sessions will be conducted in English. It is our objective to include world recognized authorities in genomics as plenary speakers.

Why Singapore?

Many leading universities worldwide recognize Singapore as a global leader in the areas of education and science — including life sciences. They have established a presence in Singapore through either joint collaborations or via the establishment of independent campuses. Singapore is also recognized by various biotech companies as a global leader in genomics. Many have responded by establishing regional headquarters, R&D facilities, and manufacturing plants in Singapore because of its strong IP environment and supporting scientific infrastructure.
