In response to the expanding global population, worldwide climate changes, and dramatic plant and animal genome research occurring in Asia Pacific, the organizers of the Plant and Animal Genome Conference are planning a short version of PAG to be held in Singapore.

All PAG Asia participants are invited to submit abstracts for the Poster Session. A Poster Session is a presentation where materials in addition to the abstract—such as genetic maps, physical maps, photographs, graphs, and/or tables— are presented on a display board along with textual summaries of the material.

The PAG ASIA conference is now entering its 3rd year and will be held July 13-15, 2015 in Singapore. There will be approximately 18 workshops, 9 plenary talks, industry workshops, a poster session, and an expo of 30+ tabletop exhibits, from leading companies in the life sciences industry.
 
Nearly 300 attendees have registered in past years, working in all areas of agrigenomics including next generation sequencing, phenomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, data management, and new technologies.
 
Each workshop is 2 hours long, with 6 speakers. Twenty minutes will be allotted for each speaker.
